In 2006 myself and my husband decided we wanted to buy a property in Turkey. We chose to purchase in the South of Turkey where it was much quieter and not too far to the airport, this helped to narrow down our search of places to buy. On perusing the internet we discovered new turkish properties.com and contacted Mike Harrop who helped arrange the trip to Kemer for us.

We flew out in May 2006. We were put up in one of the Viking Hotels and were met by Can Kobal on our arrival. Everything was stress free and very professional. We were taken to the plot of land where the apartments were to be built and within minutes of being there we fell in love with the place, the views were fantastic. We went ahead and purchased a three bedroom apartment.

We were so impressed with New Turkish Properties and Can Kobal of Viking Turizm that we never instructed a solicitor to act on our behalf. The transaction went through smoothly and I was regularly updated on the progress of the apartment. We didnt realise that buying a property abroad could be so easy.

I loved Kemer so much that I asked Can Kobal of Viking Turizm if I could get married in his Viking Star Hotel which I did in June 2007. Whilst we were there in June we completed the property transaction and collected the keys to our apartment.

We are delighted with the apartment and thanks to Can Kobal and Mike Harrop cannot believe how straight forward and stress free it was to purchase the apartment in Kemer.

Having visited places as far away as Mexico and the Dominican Republic, we decided to try somewhere closer to home and visited Turkey which is only a 4.5 hr. flight away. We booked a hotel in Tekirova which is surrounded by the beautiful Taurus mountains. Before we travelled we thought it would be nice to see what we could get for our money if we were to buy a property and came across Mike's website on the Internet which advertised properties in nearby Kemer. Having spoken to Mike several times over the next few weeks and having seen pictures of the properties, we did something we said we would never do, namely wire a £1,000 deposit over before having seen the actual properties on offer.

Mike Harrop and Can Kobal (Viking) collected us from our hotel and took us to see several of the projects that were available, all of which were highly desirable. We then went on to view 'our apartment' which was at the time being constructed in Aslanbucak, a village on the outskirts of Kemer. We couldn't believe what we could get for our money and just decided to go ahead. We are so glad we did as we have purchased a ground floor, two bedroom apartment right in front of the complex pool. The apartment comprises of two generous bedrooms with very high ceilings, a large kitchen and living area with patio doors, cooling marble floors and air-conditioning throughout.

Our children love it here and every time we arrive we feel like we've come to paradise. You can't put a price on the views around here as they are truly amazing. Everything is lush greenery, fragrant and the climate offers something for everybody from a nice 25 degrees April/May to sizzling temperatures in the summer back down to pleasant 20plus degrees in October time.

Being English and as this was our first purchase from Mike Harrop and Can Kobal we decided to enlist a solicitor with all of the legal aspects of our purchase. In hindsight we could have saved ourselves the money as it is very straight forward to purchase in Turkey. Both Mike and Can are extremely helpful and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. We are hoping to purchase a second property in the future and friends of ours have also followed suit and managed to get the last two bedroom apartment on our complex.

On a final note we can honestly say that this is not a 'hard sell' company nor does it need to be. When you set foot into a Viking complex and see the high standard of finish and once you drive into Kemer and see what it has to offer, with views across moonlight beach and the marina, these properties sell themselves.
